Ways of Sending Surveys
In Roslin, there are two ways of sending surveys that can be used interchangeably:
- Manual (Once-off) Surveys
- Automated Regular Surveys
This provides full control to admins. This will allow you to select all the questions in the survey and then to send the survey immediately or schedule for a later date.
Now you can select a name for your survey, its expiry date and choose questions to add to it.
You can also save your progress and return to this survey later.
Once completed, you can click the schedule button to choose a date to send your survey or you can send it immediately by selecting the arrow next to the schedule button and clicking Send Now.
If you would like Roslin to generate surveys and schedule them automatically, you can instead create a Survey Automation.
A Survey Automation is simply a rule that you set that will run in perpetuity until you stop it. It will allow you to select how often to generate surveys, how many questions to add and how long the surveys should remain open for.
An example would be a monthly survey that is open for 2 weeks and has 12 questions. These questions will be randomly selected from your Question Pool.
The Survey Automation will generate a Scheduled Survey 3 days before it is due to be sent and notify all the admins that this survey has been generated. This will afford your admin team an opportunity to review the survey and make changes before it goes out to your company. You can also unschedule that survey or delete it entirely.
To create a Survey Automation, go to Survey Admin on the sidebar and then click on Survey Automation. Then simply click on the create new button at the top of the screen and fill out the required information.
