User Roles within Roslin

User Roles determine what any user can do or see with Roslin. To amend a user's role, update that user from the User Management Screen and use the User Role dropdown to select one of the below settings.

Employee

This is the starting point and is best used for users who will only be completing surveys. They will be able to:

  • Complete surveys and leave comments (without logging in)
  • Participate in conversations (after logging in)
  • Amend their profile (Firstname, Lastname, Email and Password)
  • View their Dashboard (aggregates their responses over six months)
  • View the Organogram
  • View the People Gallery
  • View Basic User Profiles via the People Gallery
  • Complete Performance Reviews
  • Create and Check-in on Objectives

Manager

 In addition to everything an employee can do, they can also:

  • View the Dashboard (*)
  • View the Driver Drilldown Page (*)
  • View the Heatmap (*)

* These reports will be limited to their team as defined by their department.

Executive

 In addition to everything a Manager can do, they can also:

  • View the Dashboard (*)
  • View the Driver Drilldown Page (*)
  • View the Heatmap (*)

* These reports are NOT limited. They can view all the data for the whole organisation.

Administrator

 In addition to everything employees and managers can do, administrators can also:

  • Manage Survey Automation Rules
  • Manage Survey Questions and Drivers
  • Manage Performance Questions and Templates
  • Create and Manage Review Rounds
  • Manage Users (including imports and exports)
  • Manage Billing and Plans
