Identity in Conversations

The purpose of the Conversations Feature in Roslin is to create a channel for staff to discuss sensitive issues that they are not comfortable enough to bring forward in person. To enable this and to help build trust in your organisation, that staff member will be kept anonymous while the person from management will NOT have their identity hidden.

To clarify this, we look at a conversation from both perspectives.

Manager View

Below is the manager's view of a conversation. Notice how the manager is identified (as Gordon Freeman) while the survey respondent (Alyx Vance) is kept anonymous.

Employee View

Below is the employee's view of a conversation. Notice how the manager is identified (as Gordon Freeman) while the survey respondent (Alyx Vance) is kept anonymous.
